Privacy Policy
Last updated September 18, 2026
Who this applies to
This Privacy Policy explains how Zues Technologies Limited, trading as Nzuuno, collects, uses, shares, and protects personal data when you use the Nzuuno app, the partner portal, or any related service. It applies to clients booking through the app and to Partners managing a listing through the portal.
Information we collect
Directly from you: account details (phone and/or email, name, city, date of birth to confirm you're 18+), the vibe preferences you select, and whatever you enter to make a booking. If you're a Partner: your listing details, compliance documents, and payout details. Automatically: which listings you view or vote on, and a push-notification device token if you allow notifications. From our payment gateway: confirmation that a payment succeeded and a reference for it, never your full mobile money PIN or equivalent credentials. We deliberately don't collect your contacts, precise GPS location, camera roll, or microphone access.
How we use your information
To create and run your account and verify you meet the age requirement; process bookings, hold escrow, and release payouts; personalize what you see in Discover; send booking-related notifications and respond to support; investigate reports and enforce our Terms; and keep the Service secure. We don't sell your personal data, and we don't use it to show you third-party advertising.
How we share your information
With the Partner you're booking, limited to what they need to fulfil it; with our payment gateway, to process a payment or payout; with the service providers who help us run Nzuuno (authentication, database hosting, image hosting, and push-notification delivery), each restricted to their function; when the law requires it; and, if Nzuuno is ever acquired or merged, as part of that transaction, subject to the same protections described here.
Data retention
We keep your data while your account is active, and for a reasonable period after for legal, accounting, or dispute-resolution obligations. Deleting your account removes your profile data; some booking and payment records may be kept longer where we have a legitimate reason to.
Your rights
You can access the data we hold about you, correct it (most of this is available directly in Account settings), delete your account (Account → Delete account), object to certain processing, and lodge a complaint with Uganda's National Personal Data Protection Office if you believe we've mishandled your data. For anything not available in-app, contact us.
Data security
We use encrypted connections throughout the app and portal, and we verify your identity against our authentication provider's own certificates rather than storing passwords ourselves for phone-based accounts. No system is completely secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security of anything sent over the internet.
Children's privacy
Nzuuno isn't directed at anyone under 18. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18, and we'll delete it if we learn we have.
Cookies
The web partner portal may use cookies or local storage to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. The mobile app doesn't use browser cookies.
Changes to this policy
If we make a material change to this policy, we'll notify you through the app or by email before it takes effect. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
